50% Fail

Today, me together with Sin Peng and Kar Yan went ot Chooi Chee's house to bake... =) We baked chocolate fudge brownies. First one is for ourselves and the other one is for few friends that are the birthday girls tomorrow.

My mum took us from school to the bakery shop nearby to buy the ingredients. Then we proceed to Chooi Chee's house.

Chooi Chee's kakak cook us 'yee mee' for lunch. It was a heavy lunch. We started work, mixing, weighing flour, sugar. Double boiling chocolate and butter. It was interesting. At last, the cake is ready to be place into the oven. We can't wait that every few minutes we will take a peep at the oven.

In the end, the cake turn out...erm...quiet good looking but too soft. It is so soft that we need to use a spoon to scoop it just to feed ourselves. But thank God the cake is cooked. So it's considered 50% failed.

After that I called my baking teacher, she said that maybe is the oven problem. So I can bake it longer or put it in the fridge to chill it. Sweat. What a cake...

Failed cake again =(

Eh, just curious. Why did u classify the failure as 50%? If it looks good, tastes good/ok and is cooked (most important!!), and the only problem is too soft, then I wud give 80% success alrdy lo.
